ABOUT US

Ballygrainey Boarding Kennels and Cattery is a family run business which has been in operation for 10 years. We are situated in an ideal location surrounded by countryside close to Bangor. There is always at least one family member on site 24 hours per day.

We have a large customer base and most of these are regulars with whom we have built up an excellent relationship over the years.

We welcome new customers and are always happy to show them round.


We use a computerised Pet Administration System, which helps us to keep track of all our pets’ medication needs, vaccinations, food requirements and likes and dislikes. When our customers book in their pet/s we immediately know any special needs, etc from their previous stay.

Our business is fully licensed by the Department of Agriculture and with the help of our staff we aim to provide a friendly, caring and safe environment for your pets.

11.00 a.m. - 12 Noon


Payment is due on collection. We accept cash, cheques and all major credit cards.

Please note that both the arrival and departure dates are payable at the full daily rate unless your pet is
collected in the morning where you will be charged at half the daily rate for that day.

Discounts will be given for long stays and to customers who have more than one pet boarding.
